It is with great excitement and anticipation that I have finally launched my website. It could be argued by friends and family that it is long overdue; however, I am here now and incredibly pleased that it resembles who I am and what I stand for.
At the design phase we decided to include a Blog, it is a great way for keeping up to date and helps your website to be found according to the designer. There were two issues with this for me, firstly I am dyslexic and secondly what do I write.
The dyslexia part is wonderfully solved by software. I discovered this when writing up all my course work. It had been a gap of 27 years since I had to submit any written work and I have no doubt that my undiagnosed dyslexia when writing my A level essays would have made little sense and this was born out with poor grades.
The tricky part for me was what to write about. I treat clients who procrastinate and worry about what other people think and when a dear friend suggested that I tell myself what I suggest to them it became truly clear.
So, over the coming weeks and months I am going to write about everyday “Normal” It is just the word that I have used to describe my thoughts. It could be that someone reads the same blog and uses “Amazing” instead or of course they could also use the word “Rubbish.” But that is the point, it is just an opinion! We all feel, see situations differently and that is what makes us human…
Take a deep breath…. Give yourself a smile and just enjoy being normal. Remembering your normal could be someones else’s inspiration.
Take care.
